So I am a junior undergrad with lots of experience shadowing dentists, and working in a dental clinic as an assistant. Lots of experience working directly with patients and such. However, my shadowing hours with medical doctors is somewhat lax (~100-150 hours).
I want to apply to both dental and medical school to keep my options open as I further discern my future career. Any opinions regarding how I should format my med school application in order to maximize my competitiveness? I was thinking including my allopathic shadowing hours, my dental assistant volunteer work, and my research (also at a dental clinic setting).
