I was lucky enough to interview at a top-choice school recently. I'm considering providing an update letter (multiple pubs plus a new leadership position), but also want to signal my intent to commit if accepted. Would it be best to do this in one letter or in two separate ones? They have a place to submit updates and letters of interest/intent in the portal, but I'm not sure if it would be weird or too much to submit two separate letters that could've been combined.

Thanks so much for any help or advice!!!

Is there a limit to uploads/updates? Did you send post-interview gratitude?

Clarity in communication is important. Don't provide evidence if you cannot write concise communications (before you have a decision).
No limit to uploads, and I did send post-interview gratitude for each interviewer. I have a current draft of the letter of intent and update letter combined and think it flows well and is clear in its purpose, I'm just not sure if adcoms would better appreciate having them sent separately if they're categorizing letter upload types.

I cannot speak for every admissions office, but some might categorize or tag communications, especially those received in their portals. I presume you can apply more than one tag to a communication. I don't know how much the coding will matter for decisions.
