Just curious, haven't met anyone else on the trail applying. Anyone else out there? =) (I know its hard to meet anyone else as there are only really 3 programs).

For 2013's match, 2 prgrams are listed with 13 applicants total but 0 matched. This also happened with med/neuro, 0 matches. Is this because the applicants were not qualified or the applicants did not rank the program highly? Or do they only fill it outside the match?

i think it is a combination that the track is harder to match in then either straight med or straight anesth. both departments must invite you to interview by themselves to be considered, and each department wants an application directly to their specialty- and interest isnt super high... it seems applicants that competitive arent common enoigh to have a ton of interest in these programs. last year no one matched and they did not fill.
