Hi all,

I was wondering how the acceptance/rejection process looked for programs where you can indicate combined degrees like MD/MPH on AMCAS. Does someone who gets rejected from the combined degree receive less consideration from the only MD program or is the application shuttled off to both committees separately?

Thank you!

All schools have different policies but usually you have to pass admissions committee for both programs. In what order, with what faculty, etc is all school specific. However, it is unlikely that lack of consideration for a joint program will have any impact of/when being rolled over for MD only
