Hey everyone,

I'm trying to plan out my AMCAS activities section and was wondering if it's generally acceptable to list 2 or more activities under one entry with combined hours provided they are very similar. In the context of my application, what I mean is:

-If I've shadowed multiple physicians, can I just list it as one overall shadowing activity and then give the actual breakdown of who I've shadowed within the description for that activity?
-Much of my clinical volunteering comes from one hospital where I've volunteered in a variety of departments (e.g. emergency, ACE unit, inpatient rehab). I was planning on making this one entry and making it a most meaningful experience.
-I am in club powerlifting at my school, but working out in general is also a major hobby of mine. Should I figure out a way to list these as one to reduce redundancy, or is it worthwhile to discuss them separately?

Thank you!

Yes to all three of your examples. This is commonly done.
