Comlex 1 below average, Comlex 2 above average. How to let programs know?

Hey gang-

So, my level 1 was below average (460s) and level 2 was above average (550s). How do I let schools know about my level 2 score so hopefully I don't get screened? I emailed one program coordinator, and they clearly didn't read the email, just said "see FRIEDA". not helpful🙄!
Any who- I wanted to figure out the best way to let programs know without pestering them, and making them fed up with me, and then ignoring me all together!

As long as you re-released your score report on ERAS showing your Level 2 scores, that's pretty much all you need to do. Programs that will screen you based on Level 1 alone will do it whether you email them or not.

However, I would recommend reaching out to programs you're particularly interested in and showing your interest. You could say something like "I have also recently updated my app with my level 2 score, and wanted to make sure you had the most up-to-date version". It may or may not do anything, but some programs might actually pull out your app and take a look because of it.

^^^ This. I sent an email to every program coordinator and basically said "I just wanted to let you know that I recently received my level 2 score back and it was XYZ. I am very interested in your program and I hope you will take another look at my application."

Hmm re-released it? On ERAS, I authorized both USMLE and Comlex transcripts about a week BEFORE my step 2 and comlex 2 scores were made available. I just assumed that the level 2 scores would also be forwarded. Is this not true?

No. You need to re-authorize or re-release or whatever the score report whenever you get new scores. You should be able to tell which scores are released to the programs on ERAS. I don't remember exactly where it is, but it's there somewhere. If you click on the score reports, you should see an option to re-authorize/release. Programs won't see your scores until then.
