I wanted to know if there is any correlation between MCAT scores and COMLEX step I scores. So anyone who has taken step I, if you are fine with it, post your MCAT and your COMLEX score.

THANKS!

You are not going to find much correlation besides that from selection bias. But here goes.

MCAT 36 (12,12,12)
COMLEX 1 732
COMLEX 2 688

Wow, very impressive! Well done 👍

My point proven. Selection bias for the win. Also take into acount the post history. If half the posts are about their scores take it with a grain of salt.

or it demonstrates that you need not be proficient at answering questions regarding 17th century Italian architecture or memorizing unnecesary chemical reactions to be successful on boards or in medical school... MCAT is a joke and is simply utilized to discard a significant amount of applications in the screening process.. the only individuals that say otherwise are those with high MCAT's, which are useless at this point in the game... when I was at that stage I was curious as well...
