COMLEX Level III on 6/15/13

I just took COMLEX III and I walked out of the testing center feeling like I just sat for an exam that I didn't study for. I had used Combank for studying and I thought I had done enough to prepare. Though during the test I felt as if every other question on the test was OMM. I had barely any Peds, OB/Gyn or any other specialty. During all of the sections I kept hoping that the exam would start asking questions on concepts I had studied, I only had one overdose question and it was not even management.

Anyone else take the COMLEX III recently and feel the same way? I am worried about the outcome, I am hoping that I passed. I am not sure though. 🙁

I took mine on 5/25 I felt the same way. My program insists that we pass step 3 before moving into second year. I'm just praying that I passed

Took it today (6/30/13). Just awful. I hear most people pass, but...there was no qbank that helped prepare me, and I used them all.

It's just too damn random. And little peds/obgyn on mine. Mostly imed, surgery, nephro. Just terrible.

I found out I passed last week by the skin of my teeth. The exam is poorly written, if the questions were written a bit better and not so obscure it would be a fair exam. Or hows about when they gave you lab values that were missing important pieces of data. Get a blood gas missing the pH, get a CMP and mission the Na or K. Get a Iron panel and missing the TIBC. Get real.

So glad I'm done with the NBOME and if the AOA thinks it's ever getting a dime from me in donations they have another thing coming. It's because of them that the NBOME is able to get away with crap like this.*Almost makes me wish I went to school in the Carib... almost

I took it on 6/15 as well. I am sure I probably failed. It was a very random exam. I didn't feel as though there were many peds questions either. I studied using uworld and went through combank omm questions. I am a very average test taker...mid 400's on previous steps. I just want to make a passing score, but I'm not sure that's gonna happen.

I was also a mid 400's and a friend of mine got a 404 on step II. We both walked out of step 3 thinking we failed but don't worry we both passed. The exam itself is ****, poorly worded.

Found out about a week and half ago I passed! Just wanted to say for the record, it wasn't a close pass either. I thought I had failed and def got over a 400. So, I am soooo happy to be done with NBOME!! Good luck to everyone else 🙂
