Just venting nervousness and irritation. I've done a million questions, but had either super or awful COMSAE scores, though all passing. ANyone else feel like the exam is so vague you almost can't study more for it at a certain point?

I'm taking it on Monday as well. I feel the same way and don't know what else to do and to be honest I don't know how much energy I have left for these unpredictable exams.

I didn't do any COMSAE exams, and did darn few questions, honestly. I did a review course as they changed the exam scoring/format last year when I took it and I wanted to be sure I had a good chance of passing. I did - and did better than on level 1.

If you have done well on your rotations, seen a lot of patients with interesting problems, actually did work and not be a voyeur for the year or disappear to the library to read all the time you should be fine. It's a thinking test. Not a regurgitation test.

I took 2 comsaes. Even the one that was a total disaster I didn't fail. So, I have hope.

Hi guys, Im a little nervous, as I basically read crush once for two weeks, some secrets, and did u world combank and comquest.

I was basically at 59 and 60 for both banks, which is way below what I see here, and I feel like Im forgetting stuff. I can't study anymore, and I dont want to fail and go through this utter misery again.

Any thoughts?

Woot, I would not worry about the percentage on COMBANK. I finished with a 60% on combank, which was lower than my UWorld average, and still scored above average on the COMSAE and passed Step 2 comfortably (just below avg). Multiple friends I talked to were scoring in the 58-60%s and they all passed (i think).

The real test seemed easier than COMBANK and similar to the COMSAE. Just wanted to give you a reassurance that 60% is not bad, and you'll do fine as long as you understand the main topics and the concepts and your mistakes were mainly the ridiculous questions.

Approach the test with some self confidence and do the best you can. You can't ask anything more of yourself.

Good Luck!

I am sooooo freaking out right now!!!! I have done gobs of questions and still did not do as well as I hoped to on the COMSAE. And while I passed, it was not a very safe pass. I take the COMLEX on Friday. :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:
