COMLEX Part 1 = 498, do I have a shot for IM?

Hey guys,

I am long time roamer on this forum but dont really post. But I just received my comlex scores today and received a 498 on part 1, which is almost about avg considering the mean is 500? So I was just wondering what are my chances in getting a good residency spot for Internal Medicine. Am I out of the woods, I'm a little worried? I really don't know the cutoffs for interviews or what is considered an avg score for Internal Medicine? I know my score isn't that great but I hope it still can work out. I will def study harder and do even better on part 2. Thanks for all the posts on this forum that have helped me out tremendously. Any further advice is greatly appreciated!
