So, I just got my COMLEX score back, and I passed! That being said, I have no idea how to interperet it (I know above 400 and 75 is passing), but I was wondering if anyone knows the formula to compare these scores to USMLE scores (my fiance is an MD student, and wants to know whether my score is similar to a 210 or a 220 or a 230 or ...).
Thanks!

You really can't exactly compare compare the 2...as both have somewhat mysterious grading schemes are not on standard bell-curves. The best you can probably do is pretend they are on a standard bell-curve and compute the percentiles w/ z-scores. For a rough estimate...just take a look at the means and standard deviations.

the conversion formula was created using a very questinable study of a small sample size and not a diverse group of participants (only one school). It undervalued my USMLE score by 30 points. Most of my friends had similiar experiences of at least 20 points below their actual score.

Ya that calculation is totally bunk, did you take both tests? It underestimated my USMLE 1 score by over 20 points. Make sure you don't let residency programs rely on this.
