So between doing passages from TBR,AAMC, TPRH and EK101

I've noticed a couple of vocabulary words that are often used. Usually they are words that revolve around what the author is trying to do, portray etc. Anyways, I thought it would be a good idea to list some common vocabulary words that you have seen. I know we can't name them all but some of them are quite common. Just quote the previous person before you.

Engender- to produce, cause, or give rise to

Precipitously-hasty, fast, rapid, quick

Yeah, there are so many random vocab words that you will come across when doing VR passages that doing something like this is almost a futile effort. Time would be better spent just doing more passages and looking up words here and there that you can't figure out using context clues from the passage. Most of the words that threw me for a loop during my studying could easily be deciphered by just by using the clues in the passage. But if you think this will help yourself and others, go for it.

I wouldn't spend too much time on this. Typically, the MCAT doesn't use tough or obscure vocabulary. When it does, it's usually because that's what they're trying to do. This is then followed up with a question about the word where you have to decipher it's meaning in the context of the passage.

Ahh okay, I just bought a sat vocab flashcard set. Do you think I should go through them? I never took the SAT so I may not know a lot of these words :/ My reading also declined to textbook reading only after HS

I don't think it's high yield enough to spend time on.
