Hello,

I am a third year at UCLA, and I was wondering about what to do with the community college classes that I had taken when I was in high school.

I literally took these community college classes for my own interest, and didn't really take them seriously. They are just petty courses that has nothing to do with anything, like sign language, art history, and things of that sort.

To my knowledge it is required to report the scores from the community college classes, correct? Even if I had taken these while I was in high school?

And we should also get the transcript matching forms for these colleges as well, right?

Thank you for your future comments!

i have a similar problem with a pass/fail course i never transfered to my undergrad college. its a totally random english class that i passed but never used the credit for, and it does not exist in any transcript from any university that ive attended. It it this...lone class from this random place...that really makes no difference to anything.

i dont feel that it is important to send out a transcript from that school for that one class i took, but just to make sure im going to call a couple schools and ask...and give them a fake name. haha!

if those credits you took were transferred to your current university, then yes you definitely need to get a matching form and send out the transcripts from community college. if those credits were not transferred to the university...then i don't know if you need to send them in. I feel like it woudn't be important, especially since those classes were taken in high school. I dont think there is any way for them to find out that you took those classes, and if there was they might not care because it was from high school and unrelated to your current major.

find out from an authority before you make a decision.

Yes, its been transferred to my college transcript, I guess. I can see it on my UCLA transcript.

Is there a way to delete these?

They specifically ask you to submit transcripts for every college level institution you've ever attended, so yes, you need to submit ALL of your transcripts. While it PROBABLY wouldn't be an issue for one small class, you don't want anything that could even possibly mess up your chances - like them finding that you didn't submit everything, especially when it would be as easy to do as sending in transcripts

Too bad life does not revolve around what you feel is important. There must be a part in the request by ds to submit all the transcripts from all the colleges you have attended that seems to cause a lot of confusion.

Just report all your grades from any college classes you took... You said you passed the class anyway so better safe then sorry. If the school finds out you weren't completely honest that will cause trouble

No you cant delete them. ADEA will keep your application on hold until you submit those transcripts from the community college, that exact situation happened to someone I know. There was a credit on there that she forgot about and her application ended up being late beause she had to send in an extra transcript last minute. You are better off sending them out. Did you fail sign language or something? 😛

Wow doctoothache thanks for your concern! but I DO WUT I WANT and i dont wanna send out my rando transcript from six yars agoooooooooooooooooooo, sawree! just messin
