I was wondering if anyone here has been accepted by taking the pre-dental requirements at a cc? Does it matter if I take them at a cc at all? Thanks!

I know of 5 people at my school who applied last year who took some their pre-reqs at a cc and all of them got accepted somewhere. Most people I have talked to say that you should only take 1, maybe 2 of the sequences at a cc (BIO, Gen Chem, or Physics) and take your organic and the others at a 4-year university. Make sure that you do just as well in the courses at the university as you did at the cc. If you got A's in your classes at the cc and ended up with C's in your university work, it will definetely raise questions about your academic ability.
I would not hesitate to take a sequence or 2 at a cc if you are confident you will do just as well at a university. Also, individual schools look at the cc work differently. Some schools could care less if you took all of your pre-reqs at a cc, while others like all the Texas schools really look down at it. Good luck 😀

As Dinodentist stated, get those A's and you will have no problem getting in. Also, make sure you rock on the DAT!
