While I was a junior in high school I took a couple of courses at my local community college during the summer. But here is the problem, I got a C in Physics but the other course, psychology, that I took I received an A. I transfered the credits to my high school for credit, but my transcript from the college still exists. Will medical schools frown upon this. I will take a full year of physics while at my current college, but will I have to sumbit the community college course from when I was 16? Will this blemish on my academic record be very influencial on my chanes of attending med school?

If you do not request advanced standing credit for the course from the college you will attend, and it doesn't appear on the college transcript, don't report it. Not quite ethical though.

I went to the aamc website and read up about this. It said I have to sumbit the transcript if I received college credit, well i didn't since I received credit at my high school. I transfered those credits to High school not to my current college. But I think I should have read these instructions before i sumbitted the transcript to the Minority Medical Education Program I am applying to for this summer.
