I'm planning on taking a philosophy class at a community college online. It says 3 units.
I got a C+ at my university, but we are quarter system.

When Community college unit says 3 units, is it semester units even for winter itnersession?

is taking philosophy class online at a CC okay for DO school?

Thank you!

You have to see what type of system the CC uses. Mine uses quarters (I think... Or trimesters. Really not sure) so a 4.5 hour class there is the same as a 3 semester hour class at my UG. Call the CC registrar's office and ask what system they use and if it's not the semester system, ask them for the conversion

^agreed. check what type of system the CC uses. If it's a semester system...then you will receive 3 semester units even if the class is during winter session (it's like taking a summer class...you earn the same units). Generally for CCs the number/type of units do not change regardless of which semester/intersession you take it in.
