Community Programs

i'd vote for baylor-dallas with albert einstein medical center in philly as a very close second. i don't think either one of these programs is easy to get into despite being community (or as they like to call them hybrids).

Agreed - Baylor Dallas is the best "community program". Its tougher to match into than its in-town rival UTSW. Year after year, its residents rock the boards. They have a great MRI fellowship (one of the most sought after type of fellowships in the country) that either fills internally or with Mallinckrodt grads.

They are known for being some of the happiest rads residents around and it also has a rep for having some of the most beautiful residents (whatever that means). If they were to make a TV drama about a radiology residency it would probably take place there.

I know there is a lot of opinion in this question but there doesn't seem to be much debate about Baylor Dallas. Where does the opinion put Baylor Dallas overall when compared to all rads progams? Top 5, Top 10, Top 10%, Top 25%, top half?

other strong community programs anyone?
