I don't think it's an MS. However, you can and usually do get board certified through the American Board of General Dentistry. IMO, Comp is a way to get more pay and show that you can work in an isolated billet if necessary. Board certification just gets you more pay.

The Navy has been offering a masters in their program for as long as I can remember. It used to be through George Washington University. The AF affilliated with USUHS for the graduating class of 2012 and the Army and Navy are making plans to do the same.
