Hey all -

I found out a couple days ago that I was selected for the Army 2-yr AEGD. I've already signed and sent in the acceptance agreement, but does anyone know how long until we find out the location? The agreements are due Jan 30, so I assume after that, but any insight is appreciated.

Also, any other HPSP people out there doing Comp?

First they have the board that selects the people, then later in January they will have the program directors get together and select who goes where for those programs that have multiple locations (AEGD, OMFS, Endo). I always thought they made the assignments in January, but if they don't even have you commit until 30 January maybe it will be in early Feb.

I got the same response and also have the HPSP. Pretty excited. Acceptance agreement has also been sent out. I was curious about the locations as well. Which school are you at?

OMFS the directors will meet in mid to lat FEB and we should hear after that. Im guessing NLT mid MAR

It should be in the spring...we will be working on all that once the letters are returned back.
