Hey Melancholy,

I understand the policy. It a little frustrating but the one thing I don't get is...How come they never sent me my acceptance letter? After my interview, I called Susan to tell her to send my acceptance letter to my San Diego address cause I figured it would be a lot quicker than sending the letter to my NY address. She agreed to send it there. Someone who lives in SD got his/her acceptance letter on the 14th but I never got mine. i got worried so I called on the 20th of Feb and someone in the admissions office said "oh, the letter was actually sent out on the 14th of Feb." OK...but you know what...it's the 27th of Feb. and the letter never arrived at my SD address. I found that kind of strange. If i had not called susan to inquire about my application, what would have happened? they would never let me know?!? I just got my acceptance letter today (sent to my NY address). It was sent out AFTER Susan informed over the phone that I had been accepted, which was on 21st of Feb. The letter was dated Feb 8th. She said her staff got confused as to which address to use or something to that effect. But then why did that person in the admissions office tell me that the letter was sent out on the 14th of Feb? Besides couldn't they have called me? or send the letter to both addresses? Very strange. Makes you wonder what's going on in the admissions office. Anyhow...yeah, so because of this whole mess my enthusiasm for COMP has dramatically decreased (also due to the negative comments from the COMP 2006 thread). But as of this point, i have decided to attend COMP. I didnt send out my deposit to TUCOM and will prob not send my deposit to NYCOM either.

I interviewed with Dr. Jones (Neuro) and Dr. Wong ( Biochem professor?).

Johnthestreak, sorry about the alternate list status. I really hope you make it. I'm sure you would make a wonderful doctor. If you have other acceptances maybe you should fax them over to Susan. Maybe that will help with your application.
