How did everyone do on the October 2004 OAT!!!

Didn't get my scores officially yet, but I got SCCO interview invitation on Saturday. So I called today to schedule it and they told me over the phone that my overall score is 350, total science 360, physics 330, rc 380, math 340. Now I can relax! 😀

How did everyone do on the October 2004 OAT!!!

Hello, I am a new member. I just receive my OAT score, which were 290 academic average and 310 total sciences. What are your opinions about this score? Are they think are acceptable?

sorry, this is kinda a random question but did your scores come by express mail or was it just normal mail (i know it comes in a big envelope?) - cause' the mail at my apt arrives reallie late...but if it was delivered this morning i need to find the apt manager to get it before she goes home.

They come in regular 110X220 envelopes via regular mail.

Right after I read this forum, the first thing I did was call up SCCO!...Boy was I nervous but thank god I received good news! I'm soooo excited!!! Anywayz, my overall was 350 and total science was 360. I wish everyone the best of luck with your scores!

It appears that many of the people on this forum did quite well for themselves on the OAT. Congrats again to those hearing from schools. Keep us all posted on your decision of where to go!!!

I was looking at the test score explanation on the ASCO report and it doesnt seem to make much sense that a 350-360 is around the 90-95th percentile range. The poll that is being taken here seems to indicate that that is def. not the case....(unless the people on this forum are just the exceptional bunch of the test takers) does the ASCO keep the same percentile band the same every test taking??

Yes, they do keep the percentile bands the same for all the tests. ex. 340 always equals 82-87 percentile. But they do stanardize how many correct answers in each section puts you in which percentile. Therefore the percentile bands should be correct. My theory for these results in the poll is that the people who do better on the OAT are more interest, therefore are cuzing this site. The majority of people that didn't do to hot maybe got discourage and are pursuing something else therefore wouldn't bother to come to this site.
