Hey guys,
Need some feedback. Which school do you think is better, in regard to residency match, education, student and faculty interactions..etc? I am a new york resident, and was accepted to WVSOM (got an interview at NYCOM but still waiting for their reply..keeping my finger crossed). What draws me toward WVSOM, is that it's a small med school, where there will be a lot more faculty and student interactions. Plus, I was looking through US news and WVSOM apparently have really good reputation in primary care, ranked top 50 including MD and DO schools. However, NYCOM was not in the list at all. But NYCOM do have top hospitals for rotation and residency. Can any students at either WVSOM or NYCOM tell me what do you think of the positive and negative aspects of your school?
