I finally finished creating a complete list/directory of all dermpath fellowship programs in the USA. The directory is available on the Pathology Resident Wiki: http://pathinfo.wikia.com/wiki/Dermatopathology_Fellowship_Directory.

Please check this list for me and let me know if any programs are missing. I will be working on finalizing directories for other subspecialties (GI, heme, surg path, cyto, etc) over the next couple of weeks. I will post the links on SDN as I finish each directory.

As always, any comments on how to improve the wiki are much appreciated.

One other thing: what do you guys think about having a free job advertising page on the wiki? I think it would be nice to have a place where anyone can post job availability for free. However, I suppose it could get crazy/out of hand with spam. I would like to try it out and see how it goes. Would this be something that all of you would find useful or no? Thanks for the feedback!

@sbp: thanks so much. I missed those 2. Some programs have either no website or else a very well hidden websites. I have added those 2 programs to the dermpath list.

@isaishere: no problem. I have all of the residency and fellowship programs listed out by state in the main directory on the wiki: http://pathinfo.wikia.com/wiki/Pathology_Fellowship_and_Residency_Directory. I plan to go through and create more of these subspecialty fellowship program lists/directories on the wiki, and I will post them on the forum as I do so. If you make a list, please post it here and I will cross check it to make sure I don't miss anything.

I hope the wiki can be useful and up to date for current and future trainees. Anyone can edit or make changes to the wiki, so I encourage all of you to add to it as you see fit.

Thanks!

Good point, Gene. ICPI is a great site, but many programs are missing, some info is outdated, and also the info cannot be easily added to or corrected. However, I did use the ICPI site to make sure my list was not missing anything (in the process I found that the ICPI list is missing many programs!). My hope is that the wiki will eventually contain many comments/reviews of training programs. I also hope to get program directors to use the wiki for updating when their spots are filled for a given fellowship/year. I realize they could do this via their own program websites, but it can take quite a while to get an admin to make updates and the wiki can be edited in a minute. Also, I want the wiki to be more informal, off the cuff, and unofficial (and thus it has the potential to be more realistic and useful to applicants, although the info should always be taken with a grain of salt of course).

Missing Boston University in MA (every other year), and I believe RI has the Roger Williams Program, but I could be wrong.

I added both programs to the wiki. However, I was unable to locate a website for Roger Williams dermpath fellowship. Also, the fellowship is not found on their list of fellowships on the RW website. But the dermpath fellowship IS listed on FREIDA. Thanks for the info!
