This set includes the complete SN2ed MCAT study package detailed on the SDN forums (Google "Breaking down the MCAT: A 3 month MCAT study schedule"), which has helped me and many others achieve their desired score on the MCAT.
The package includes all of the following 14 books:
Berkeley Review
Biology I and II
Physics I and II
General Chemistry I and II
Organic Chemistry I and II
* Berkeley Review has excellent practice problems, many consider them harder than the problems on the actual MCAT, but they prepare you extremely well. BR also has very in depth content review.
Examkrackers
Biology
1001 Questions in MCAT Physics
1001 Questions in MCAT Chemistry
1001 Questions in MCAT Organic Chemistry
101 Passages in MCAT Verbal Reasoning
* Examkrackers is valuable because of the vast variety and volume of practice problems that they provide. EK provides a more surface-level and concise summary of the information presented on the MCAT.
Princeton Review
Hyperlearning MCAT Verbal Workbook (2009)
* This workbook is a fairly accurate representation of the passage length and question difficulty that I encountered on the MCAT.
The Berkeley Review books were bought brand new with the intent of reselling them, so they are in very good condition. The other books were bought used, but are also in very good condition. There is writing or marking (from the previous owner) in only one book, the 1001 Questions in MCAT Chemistry, and the markings are barely visible. These markings are only in the first 5 pages. There are no writing or markings in any of the other books.
This set, along with the official MCAT practice tests, which are very useful for getting a feel of how the actual test will be, will provide adequate materials to achieve your desire score. Good luck, and I hope this set helps you get into medical school as well.
