Hi,

I will interview this week at a few UC Davis labs. A couple of the interviews are for voluntary research positions while one is for a paid position (helping with chores in the lab). I have a stubbly (short facial hairs) beard and I am not sure if I should completely shave it off or just clean it up before my interviews.

Any suggestions?

I usually just trim before any important interviews. Don't like fully shaving so I just trim short and keep it clean looking. Never have had any problems so far.

Thanks for that. What length? Consistent or faded? Neck Beard? Clean cheek bones?

Think it depends on several factors. You can have very clean stubble or you can look like a preteen.
My apologies. It's about 3 cm, patchy between chin and jaw. I will undoubtedly shave the neck hairs and cheek hairs if I decide to clean up rather than completely shave.

Perfect. Ya good.
