Completing all prereq's by application submission and completion

I heard most schools don't require you to have your pre-reqs completed by or during the time you apply, as long as you will finish those courses by the time you enrol in dental school.
But will you be at any disadvantage compared to people who completed all the prereq's and thus have all the prereq grades on transcript?
 
Nope, not really. You'd be at a disadvantage if say, you've got less "recommended" classes under your belt or planned than someone else, but as long as you've got most of your pre-reqs already done and established yourself, you won't be negatively impacted. Good luck!
