Can someone please help me with the below question. I already tried googling and searching SDN threads:
I am not understanding the issue with compounded eutectic mixtures. So what if two powders mixed together turns into liquid? If the product must be in oral form, can't it just be turned into an oral solution or liquid-filled capsule? Why does the compounder need to take the extra step of adding a powder adsorbent so that the mixture remains a powder? What is the advantage?
Thank you in advance.
