So I know of the big ones, which I plan to use exclusively during 2nd year. Other than UW, Kaplan, and USMLERx are there any other quality banks out there?

Also, anything else comparable to Doctors in Training out there?

the next tier of Qbanks are USMLE Consult and USMLE Weapon. Consult has been around longer while Weapon is new and i believe DIT users get Weapon for free. there's also USMLE quickprep which is free and has 4000+ questions. but honestly i wouldn't touch any of these qbanks until you've exhausted the big 3 and even then i'd do UWorld a 2nd time.

the 2 comparable programs to DIT are kaplan high yield (http://www.kaptest.com/Medical-Licensing/Step1/s1-high-yield.html) and first aid step 1 express (http://www.usmlerx.com/content/first-aid-step-1-express-video)

They're "the big ones" as you say for a reason. I'm sure there are others but I haven't heard of them.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717

Yeah. There's no need to use anything else because those offer enough qs.

Crack open first aid and look in the back. it has a comprehensive list of all sorts of these things, qbanks included.

Comprehensive List
1. Uworld
2. Kaplan

You're welcome.

I understand that the other tier of qbanks are essentially crap, but I don't want to touch the big three until August. My issue right now is becoming familiar with the types of questions. Unfortunately, our exams do not resemble USMLE style and I need to train my brain to think USMLE "style".

Leonidis: thank you. I am going to go ahead with those. thefritz: thank you, I never knew this.

Again, I completely agree with everyone else. If I were a normal student and not mentally challenged I would just stick to the big three during my second year. I'm not (intelligent) and I have to start conditioning myself early on. Unfortunately, I don't want to waste the precious assets 1.5 years out. Thanks to everyone who has responded and who will 👍
