Starting my diy postbac this semester. BA in political science. The local college where I am planning to attend recently switched over to compressed semesters (7 weeks).

Good for quicker completion. Bad if they do not count for med school admissions.

Some science courses are 2 nights lecture/2nights lab while other courses are online lecture/2 night labs. Is this going to be a problem when applying to medical school???

^It is the only school in the country to convert to this system campus wide for all classes so it is an extremely unusual scenario.

As long as you have the pre-requs, it will not matter. Be careful not to overload since it will probably move super fast.
Also, make sure the schools you would like to go to accept online credits (some do, some do not).
