I thought I was never going to sit for this 2 day exam again. I was doing fine on my test but during my last CCS case, the screen froze and my proctor was unable to restart/resume the case due to an error message that read " due to restart restrictions, this case cannot be resumed". It just ended right there, incomplete. They said they'll write to USMLE & NBME about this but this is so unfair. I do not want to re-take this test from scratch for thier equipment failure 😡
I dont care about the score, I just need a pass. And I am wondering I may just pass without that incomplete CCS case ( maybe) and really, really do not have the time and energy to sit for this 2 day test again.

DId anyone experience the same problem? What was the outcome? Do they make you retake from scratch/retake the part where they failed or just adjust the score?

I remember a thread about this a couple of years ago, although I don't have time to dig for it.

If I remember correctly, the same thing happened to someone else. They eventually were told that they had passed without CCS, and that they had the choice of taking their passing score, or to repeat the test.

This was a while back so my memory may not be accurate.
