I was forced to void my mcat today.
I was finishing the PS and I went to the final review page, and noticed that it said the very last 3 questions were "incomplete". I can recall verbatim what answer and letter I chose for the last 3 questions.
I doubled clicked on those questions to figure out why it said that, and then it went to "you have run out of time."
I had no choice but to believe that they actually were incomplete due to a computer glitch, even though I am 100% sure I clicked each answer.

What are my options? How can I get a refund?
AAMC seems to think that I should have just continued and submitted my exam without caring wether or not the questions were submitted at all (according to their tech support during the exam).

I am panicking right now trying to figure out when and where I can take the mcat ASAP.

Has anyone been in this situation, what should I do??

You should have continued with your exam. You made a mistake.
Wow thank you for your wonderful guidance and insight. You have genuinely helped me.
I'm not sure I understand. How does missing 3 questions force you to void?
Because missing 3 questions on top of what I already may have missed is easily the difference between a 14 and a 12 in PS.

What is done is done, don't stress out, it certainly won't help. I think your priority would be to register for another MCAT, which you should in 24 hours or so. Don't worry about getting a refund (it might not be possible) at this time in my opinion. Worry about registering for another one ASAP and taking it - put all your energy and focus on the new one not on what is already done. Forget what happened that day (definitely continue with your claim to AAMC and see if you can get a refund but what I am saying is that it shouldn't be your priority at this point). That's my 2 cents.

Thank you for the reply. I agree that I am just going to drop the refund thing right now. I unfortunately have to submit the claim with them within 5 days so I will try to do that in hurry and forget about it.
I suppose my it is nothing more than a waiting game until I can register again.

Would early July make me a late applicant?

Some people say yes, some people say july is still not considered late. What I am trying to say is that it is NOT important at this point, what you should be worrying about is reviewing content so it remains fresh in your mind and finding a spot and writing it asap, with full energy, focus, and confidence and you will be fine 🙂 do not worry about getting a refund, don't worry about anything else, just the MCAT at this point..
