I will be obtaining my first bachelor in computer science this May and will spend a year to finish the rest of pre-reqs and take DAT. I already got accepted to a Biological science program as a second degree seeker. By May 2019, I will finish all the pre-reqs to apply. I just wonder do I still need to take some more classes (like upper level Bio classes) during the interview process (June-Dec 2019) ? Or I just need to finish the pre-reqs and can take a break to go to work during the interview process?
Thank you very much.

As long as you have a degree and have finished your prereqs you are not required to keep taking classes. If you want to take anatomy and physiology they might help you out in your first year, but most schools don't require them.

So u think will the committees look at me as a non-serious applicant ? I mean by the next cycle, I hope I could finish all the basic pre-reqs + Anatomy1,2 + Microbio + Biochem (just only 2 courses considered as upper level Bio class). I need to make a long-term plan so I can feel more comfortable 🙂

You aren't the first nor will you be the last Comp Sci applicant. Looking at statistics, those with an engineering major (Comp Sci included) have the same acceptance rate (if not slightly higher) than Bio counterparts (Source). If you can do well in all the pre-reqs and the DAT, you'll be in a good spot. Being a Comp Sci applicant might even help you stand out. Just be sure you're able to answer why dentistry instead of a traditional job with a Comp Sci degree.

I'll be applying this cycle with a Bachelor's in Comp Sci. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
