Quick questions, for those that have taken COMSAE C, how was it a comparison to the real thing?

I think I took COMSAE B, not C, 2 days before the real thing. 742.
The actual COMLEX II was similar or maybe a little easier. 728.
Pretty good correlation for me. I'm not gonna squabble over 14 imaginary points 🙂

I have no idea about C. I took COMSAE Part II - B -and got 490 two weeks out from test.
Just got my actual score back and FAILED it with 392. WTF? It says I scored below average on surgery and OBGYN. Those areas were the areas I scored the highest on COMBANK and Comquest and UWorld. I don't get it. I know there were a bunch (more than 10) really vague GYN questions about "woman comes in with itch" and no real great info after that, but a 100 point drop? The COMLEX is a terrible test. Whoever writes these things should be fired. And no, I'm not going to do peddle pump or rib raising on someone with appendicitis, so I wish they'd stop asking. Maybe that's why my surgery score was low.
In my opinion, DO student should just be required to take the USMLE (which I scored 226) and then take an additional $50 all OMM COMSAE to prove they actual read Savarese (not what is taught at school). Yes, I'm venting. I'm just really P'd off that I have to drop $550 on this stupid test again and that I'm going to have to explain why I failed it to program directors. Ridiculous.
