Very true. And cute, sleeping piles of kittens. :meanie: A few of them were feral little 1 pound badarses who were hissing and spitting. Those are my fav. They suddenly lose their nerve when you pick them up and you can force cuddle them into adoptability. 😀

I got a spray tan a few years ago and I really, really loved it. You should try it! The only weird part is being barely clothed infront of the person spraying you. 😳 Awkward. :naughty:

It was also weird leaving the spray tan place and letting the spray tan soak for a few hours. The only thing you can really do is sort of sit there and hope you don't touch anything
 
I've never studied less for an exam in my entire life. And it's a 3 parter 😏
Like I legit have not studied for one second and am taking it early today to get the written part over with. :help:
I just cannot find an ounce of motivation at this point. I don't care, I just want it over with and my summer to start.

The girl who sprayed me was super nice and we just chatted the whole time so it wasn't too awkward. I waited 8hrs before I showered and didn't scrub or use any body cleaner stuff in the shower and so far so good.

Confession:
Took a trip back to the town and state where my cat was born as part of her birthday, and MrsSOV and my anniversary. Of course took the cat with us.

Not sure if she cared or not, but she certainly had a lot to say about it.

It was her 15th birthday so we wanted to do something special.

New confession:
I have been pretty much away from SDN for the last few months (until today obviously).
Figured my post count/day must have dropped significantly.

Well, it is still over 10+ messages per day.

That is ...........shocking?

Sometimes I sit in my car for five minutes or so when I get home just so I can have a few more minutes before coming back to reality. Granted if the husband is already home I don't do this.
 
I am crazy scared of basically everything about vet med right now and seriously considering doing something with my psych degree instead.

full disclosure: I'd also really like that because it means I could move with my boyfriend and we wouldn't be long distance (at least for a year since I'm only planning the psych thing as a deferral so that I can experience something other than vet med), which is also why I'm probably not actually going to do it.

EC- don't let this bump in the road derail your Vet med goals.. If you want to use your psych degree.. Do it for You, not for him.. Hang in there girly, you can push through this!! 😍 👍

Maybe I'm missing something, but how would this really fix the situation? Last post I saw on this topic, was that you broke up because he didn't want to do long distance. If you're only going to do the Psych thing for a year, you're most likely going to be in the same position next year unless it's likely that he'll be okay with it then.

100% agree that if you want to do something with your psych degree that it needs to be for you and he can't be a factor in that decision.

And I'm sorry if that was too forward or if I'm missing pieces, I guess I just don't think it's fair for you to put vet school on hold to put yourself in the same situation next year.

It's an opportunity to try out the psych field. If I like working there, there's no problem and I can stay with him. If not, and he still says he can't do long distance (I feel like a lot of this for him is the length of time and his own uncertainty about his future) then I know I'm picking something that's more important to me.

I know I'm being somewhat irrational, and I probably won't end up actually doing it. But I am considering it.

Ha, no, bribing didn't work.

Actually the badge updated prior and I went "yay my badge updated!" then noticed my gold expired, so donated again. 2 for 1 special on Gold is reasonable IMO.
 
I'm nervous to start my "new" job, even though I'm going to be working with the same amazing people I spent three years with in undergrad. But I feel like my new position has a lot more responsibility and I'm afraid I'm going to suck at it and my boss will think badly of me.

Also, I don't really have the money for new clothes but I feel like I need to get some more "professional" stuff (khakis, a couple new tops) because of the new position. I think I'll hit up goodwill, but argh :\
 
There was a big party at the hotel I'm staying at in Brussels today. Ran into the manager and he told my group to go in and have a drink. We acquired entry wristbands and helped ourselves to multiple drinks...and dinner and desert...all for free. I had several beers and champagne. I kind of want more...

This is what weirds me out about pinterest. Because it's not even people I'm good friends with. It's the real weird random people. I never pin anything anyways and still don't know how to use pinterest so they don't get anything out of it...

It has made the small ideas I have for my wedding seem entirely inadequate.
 
First major task with the galaxy note tablet that I just bought (besides SDN) was downloading coloring pages as PDFs so I can sit and color with the stylus....It is just too much fun. 😀

Mine was figuring out how to buy comics and make the ones I have readable...and then read a ton of them. Your idea sounds both fun and useful though, I should try that next!
 
I can't quite decide if I feel irresponsible adopting another dog before I move, especially given that I'm not %100 where I'm going to live, or if really it IS the right to do because he needs a good mommy, my dog needs a buddy and they're already bonded, and because I love him so already.
