Okay, I'm realy confused about EK study methods. It says that I shouldn't memorize but how am I going to know unless I commit it to memory some of the concepts, ideas and terms? Without knowing by memory how can I do well in the MCAT? People have stated that it is more a reasoning test but how am I suppose to reason if I don't know the basic ideas?? 😕

I think that you definitely have to know the basic concepts of each subjects in order to do well on the passages. If you try doing MCAT passages cold, you'll realize that you have a hard time doing them just by purely getting your information from the passages. It definitely helps to have background information....especially to save from wasting time on certain questions.
