So I just got the confirmation email for my Nov 2nd interview from Pitt. But the title is "Congradulations!!" and at the end of the email it reads...

"Having had the opportunity today to speak with so many of
you today, I am sorry to say that I am beginning to lose my voice. I promise
that I will try again on Monday.

The answer to the BIG question is a resounding YES! you may
presume, if your status is “offer made” on the AADSAS website, that
you will have an acceptance letter mailed to you within the week. You may also
presume that if you are receiving this email that your status is “offer
made”.

I want you to be assured that the Admissions Committee spent
a great deal of time and energy to get to this point. You are among the best
and the brightest applicants that the committee has ever considered. You
deserve a round of applause! I am very happy for you."

Is that even possible or am I totally off...

I got the same email....maybe those last paragraphs got forwarded by accident to the email that was suppose to go to all the Nov 2 interviewees?

I don't know though...

lol...looks like a mistake.

That is truly bizarre on so many levels. I'm glad I'm not the one who made that mistake! Clearly it's not intended for those interviewing on Nov 2.

If it was intended for those (some) who interviewed today, are they allowed to send an unofficial acceptance letter before Dec 1?
