confused about semester hours

Hey guys I am a Canadian student interested in applying to Pacific university for optometry. I was browsing ther application and it said to figure out gpa for last 45 semester hours (68 quarter hours). I have no clue what that means. I go to UBC and 1 class is equal to 3 credits. How do I convert credits to semester hours or quarter hours? Thankyou.

I'm assuming it's the same as here, but 1 credit hour is equal to 1 semester or quarter hour depending on how your school is set up. Hope that helps!

Ya so 3 credit hours = 3 semester hours

Thanks guys! So basically when they ask for last 45 semester hours, they are wanting the grades of our last ~15 classes.
