As I am doing problems, I am confused about what values are equal for capacitors and resistors.

I am having trouble understanding the logic behind it.

For each one of these, does voltage before = voltage after?

Does current before= current after?

Does charge before = charge after?

Think about Kirchhoff's laws as you go around the circuit and apply that logic to simple circuits with only capacitors and/or resistors.
