Confused by email

My aacomas app was verified the 12th but it is not released yet. However this morning i got an email from one of my schools saying they received my app and i got the secondary info. So is my app released it just doesnt say?
Also as another question, the school that sent the secondary said i just need to submit the secondary and then only if im invited for an interview do i need to submit lor's. Is this normally how schools handle lor's? I thought they needed to be in before an interview invite would be extended.

normally schools ask for LORs with secondaries, but they might be different. also the e-mail from AACOMAS should explain that it will be available to schools but the release date will be later.

Some schools will give you an interview before receiving your LORs

with LECOM you fill out the secondary and if you receive an interview then you send in the LORs and get them there before the interview.

at WVSOM you only get a secondary if you get an interview so you don't have to send your letters in before you receive an interview here either.

However most schools do require you to send the LORs before being considered for an interview.
