questions:

The fee for the USMLE transcripts transmission is 5o dollars. Why is this optional? I thought that the Programs would get my scores for free whenever they download my information. I already paid 60 dollars for the first 10 programs and so on. What if I decide not to transmit my scores, This means that the programs will not be able to download my scores even if they want to? The reason I asked this is that nobody ever mentions this 50 dollars fee. Any answer would be appreciated, thanks community

ERAS is the biggest money business in medical education.. Not much can be done about it. Imagine if each FMG/IMG applying to an average of 60 programs (I heard of 150+). So if 5000 FMGs apply to average 60 places (which is 30 over 30 so $25X30X5000= $3,750,000) then its over 4 mils just for the extra places applied to, not including the main application of the US and the non US grads etc. Bottom line, you cant change the money grubbing action, they got you by the balls.

Where does it say there's a fee? I didn't see anything about a fee.
