Confused............Pls read and help me out.

I am a foreign trained dentist presently enrolled in a on-line MPH program (MPH with dental emphasis) at A.T.Still uni. My concentration was Research design and planning (selected this con as I am really really interested in research and as I am a volunteer RA at UIC) now the program director is saying that they are not going to offer this concentration any more and I am not interested in the other 2 options (a. Leadership and administration and b. Education).
I mainly selected this program and concentration (even though this program is not CEPH accredited) as I wanted to be within my field and am interested in research.
Now my options are
1. Select 1 of the other 2 concentrations which I am not interested in.
downside of this is a. I get a degree in something that I am not interested in and b. It will not be CEPH accredited.
2. With draw from this program and transfer credits into another CEPH accredited general MPH and after obtain g the degree do a certificate program in bio statistics and epidemiology.
Downside of this is a. Spend some extra $$$
Plus point will be a. Get a CEPH accredited degree.
b. get a certificate also.

Pls read my post and tell me what u would do. I am leaning towards option 2.

if anything get an accredited degree; however if you're trying to work somewhere in the US with an MPH, an online program will generally not get your anywhere. If you're already working in the US and really are interested in the MPH try to enroll in a part-time program and possibly you're employer can help pay for it. While an online program can cover the basic coursework, IMO a classroom provides a better and more challenging learning environment.

Yes I hope to be able to work in U.S someday. On the degree certificate I read that there will be no mention if the degree was obtained on-line or traditionally.
I can not afford to go part-time or full-time due to $$$ and family.
