Hey everyone! I got my PCAT scores...it was my first time taking it...so Im not really sure what I should do. 😕 I have a 3.3 GPA...and a BS in Biology. I applied to UB, LIU, Rutgers, St. John Fisher, and NOVA. These are my scores:

Verbal 53%
Bio 74%
Reading Comprehension 76%
Math 67%
Chem 54%
Composite 66%

Conventions of Language 3.0
Problem Solving 3.0

Do you think I have a chance of getting into any of those schools? I think im going to retake in Jan.
What do you think??
Has anyone ever gotten in with similar stats?

I think you will have a chance to get in at least 1 school. I saw one person on this forum who got 2.9 on GPA and 78% on the Pcat and got in.

I personally would suggest retaking it to try to raise your scores. I don't know what the average GPA is at the schools you're applying to, but in general yours is good, but not stellar. Try to do really well on the Jan PCAT to set yourself apart from other people in the same GPA range. Good luck.

I agree...those are pretty low scores. Scoring in the 50's in any section of the pcat puts your application to any school in jeopardy...especially when one of those sections is the Chemistry section.

Unless english is your second language you should be able to significantly increase your verbal and reading comp sections with relatively little effort. The other sections will require serious prep.

I got in with a mid-50's score. It's not impossible....keep your hopes up👍

Which school did they get into? I have a 2.8 GPA and an 85%, kinda want to apply to whereever they got into. 😀
