Okay.... I read on the Kaplan Physiology book that one of the factors that affect diastolic pressure, decreasing it (and it was also listed in factors affecting systolic pressure, increasing it) was - decrease in vessel compliance.... now, this makes sense for increasing systolic pressure because you're making the compliance of the vessel less compliant, but how does this decrease diastolic pressure?

Please explain.
