So I am confused about SMP's and when one applies to medical school;
My confusion: If you do an SMP and finish in spring 09, do you apply for med school start in Fall 09? This seems late, ie if you apply for fall 09 one would not have finished their 1st semester of SMP classes before sending in apps.
So maybe someone could help me how is it at VCU, toledo, tufts Drexel etc.
When do you apply for med school?
When do you start medical school (espically at programs who have direct links with medical schools) ?
Also if anyone doesn't mind saying did you get in with stats below the schools avgs? Like gpa below 3.0 but MCAT above 27 etc
