confusing chem question

The Answer is correct the molecule on the left is R and on the right is S. therefore, they are enantiomers. It's very hard to explain it over the computer but my best suggestion is for U to open the Destroyer book on prob# 91. There are many problems like this in destroyer. DR. Romano developed the easiest and the best way to solve this problems. But as far I can help u over the computer the Object on the Left is R and on the Right is S Configuration. Destroyer will really help u not only with type of problem but with many others. I really don't like the way Kaplan explains it. So Good Luck to u!!! 👍👍👍

I'd help you with the question but the guy before me answered it,
 
when it's a simple "4 armed molecule" (term i just made up) it's easy to figure out the R and S...

first is to find the lowest priority (in this case H) and see if it's sticking out towards you or in towards the paper (in this case the H are out towards you).

second is to find the spin (clockwise or counter) where spin goes from highest priority to lowest (in this case High - OH and lowest - methyl)

lets use your example...the left molecule has a spin going counter clockwise...but since H is sticking out towards you...reverse the spin. so instead of S it's R.

if the H was going into the page...the spin would be what you originally designated it as...
