Hi everyone!

I am looking to buy a used Kaplan set and found a pretty good deal on the "fourth edition" set. Does anyone know what years this is and what the difference between the 2018-2019 set and the fourth edition is?

Would the fourth edition be sufficient to use for someone who's taking the MCAT Deceber 2019?

If you are looking for Kaplan, the differences between the 2018-2019 (4th edition) and the 2019-2020 (5th edition) set are very minimal. Kaplan releases two editions for each of their books - one that is labeled as a year and one that is labeled as an edition and those are EXACTLY the same. So the 4th edition it ehs same as the 2018-2019 beyond the label. There are very-very minor wording differences that do not add or detract from the content between edition years (aka between 2019-2020 and 2018-2019)- hence making a Kaplan older edition a good choice for someone looking to save money.

I might be able to match the deal you are seeing online for your fourth editions, if you send me a PM with the cost you are seeing for the book set online.
Thank you! I am talking about the set that says "2018-2019" on the side vs. the set that says "4th edition" on the side. I am not talking about the 2019-2020 version 🙂
