what is the difference between kaplan review notes and the book itself

many people have told me not to concentrate on the big red book ..
just get A-N review notes

whats that ?
can anyone please help me out ?
where can i find A-N review notes of kaplan ?

I guess by A-N they meant the released NBDE part1 papers. Kaplan has a NBDE review book and lecture notes that are both separate. The lecture notes for kaplan NBDE is an abridged version of their usmle part1 lecture notes. Kaplan sells each one of these and they are also available from students who have already used it and u can find such used books on ebay and other sites. The released NBDE part 1 papers have their sets marked from A-N u can find the used ones on sites like ebay or u they would be avilable at a dental school library or u can buy them at ASDA web site. These are suggested as useful tool by many people who have already taken the test.
