Hi all,

So applied for step 3 on monday, and I need to get my documents in before september 9th. From reading the FSMB's website, I understand that I only need to send the Certification of Identification form - is that correct? Do they just get my medical school information etc from ECFMG (I'm a FMG)?

And another question. It seems like there's many oppinions on which books to use for step 3. I got Kaplan step 2CK lecture notes from 2008/9, and have heard that they're basically the same as kaplan step 3 notes. So do you think it would suffice to use Kaplan step 2ck lecture notes, MTB step 3, and then U-world?

Anybody got an idea about this? I need to send the documents tomorrow morning, so would be nice to know before... (not trying to be neurotic🙂)

HEY,They just need the Certificate of identity with your pic on it and notarized..Mail it out and thats all i think you need to complete processing.

I just send the form earlier today, so now I just have to wait to receive my scheduling permit...
