I am a freshman @ Ohio University. I am really busy this semester (I'm sure most of you are busier), as I am tutoring, attending SI for all my science courses, and really trying to study effectively. With being so busy, I'm finding it hard to stop in and chat with my profs. My biology professor doesn't seem like a "chat" is his cup of tea anyhow, but my Chem professor is a super sweet lady who I know I could connect with and maybe ask for a letter of rec in the future. However, I don't want to walk in her room and be the kid that attends SI, takes a PLTL course to accompany the class as well, and still has very specific questions about intro chemistry. Maybe I'm overthinking it though, she might love me? Thoughts? I know I need to start getting to know faculty but I'm just a little lost.

You are just a freshman, you have time to take more courses--especially smaller ones where you click with more of the profs.
The best letters come by chance or accident anyway, meaning you get the best ones from the profs/classes you don't like in the beginning etc. (I'm probably going to get roasted by my fellow sdners for saying that).

You could ask whoever is in charge of your tutoring (if it's that kind of thing).
