Public MD Data
Made a data sheet with a fresh take on some statistics that I haven’t really seen focused on here. Obviously, this raw data and should be treated as such since everyone is their own special snowflake, but I hope that it will be helpful in building a school list where your chances of acceptance are maximized. There is a lot of variance (deserved or not) between how public schools emphasize state residency. Something to consider for you non-trads who are flexible in where you choose to live before school, and for the rest that are applying to out-of-state public schools to broaden your school list.
Some observations:

Some observations:
- 9 schools interview at least 70% (!!!) of in-state applicants
- 7 schools interview less than 1% of OOS applicants
- 14 schools interview more than 10% of OOS applicants
- Cali sucks for in-state but you already knew that
